Begonia grandis, or Hardy Begonia, is a favorite plant for plant lovers. It likes a shady location and produces small pink and white flowers that usually bloom in the summer and fall. This perennial plant can survive in USDA Zones 6 to 9 and is a good houseplant because it is easy to care for. Unfortunately, if ingested, it is dangerous to animals.
